Since its inauguration on September 19, 1999, the Circuit of the Valencian Community, Ricardo Tormo, has become an emblematic space. A commitment to sport that places the Valencian Community as a point of reference in the motor world.
The Ricardo Tormo Circuit, officially Circuit of the Valencian Community Ricardo Tormo, is a racetrack located in Cheste, in the province of Valencia of the Valencian Community. It has a capacity for 165.000 spectators, with 125.000 seats and is named after the Valencian motorcycling champion Ricardo Tormo, double 50cc world champion.
In its design, the canon of the American circuit, the well-known ovals, has been followed, unlike the traditional European circuit with its inconveniences caused by architectural solutions that prevent complete visibility of the layout.
It is located on a plot of one million and a half square meters located within the municipality of Cheste. Just 20 kilometers from the city of Valencia, and just 15 km from Manises airport. Due to its mild winter weather, many European motorcycling teams use the circuit during pre-season for test riding.
