FINE CARBON
Grip is improved through increased contact with the road at the micromolecular level. And in addition, the compound is reinforced to make it even more effective, improving abrasion resistance.
DYNAMIC FORWARD FORMULA (DFF)
The profile design and shape of the front tire have been optimized using Dunlop's Dynamic Front Formula (DFF). In this way it offers the ideal balance between steering effort, stability and responsiveness, offering you unprecedented confidence and pleasure.
HIGHER PROPORTION OF SILICA
A higher silica content is used to increase the flexibility of the compounds at low temperatures. It is used to reduce a compound's dependence on temperature to provide excellent grip in the wet and increase mileage in the most adverse conditions.
MULTI-TREAD TECHNOLOGY (MT)
Thanks to years of success in international Superbike, Endurance and GP championships, a pioneering multi-compound has been developed, which has been transferred to many of our current Sportmax track and road products. By mixing different compounds, the same tire can offer different performance properties, for example, if maximum lean angles or a straight position are adopted during a straight line at top speed.
JOINTLESS BELT CONSTRUCTION (JLB)
All of our Sportmax street tires are engineered using a combination of Computer Aided Design and Finite Element Analysis technologies, as well as Jointless Tread (JLB) construction (either front or rear). The JLB's construction eliminates tread overlaps, resulting in smoother handling and a more stable contact tread with respect to the road.
RAYON LAYER OF THE SHELL
Rayon is used as the casing ply material to improve mileage and shorten warm-up time.
REVISED DYNAMIC FRONT PROFILE
The dynamic front mold profile shape has been revised to meet the needs of the most demanding road riders and extreme track applications. This results in a unique balance between reduced steering effort and excellent cornering grip, to give you improved response for more confidence on the front tire when cornering and under braking.
