We are going to roll to Cartagena Circuit, a racetrack located in Cartagena, autonomous community of Murcia.
CIRCUIT
It is the circuit that hosts the most hours of training and competition in all of Spain, due to its strategic location and the good weather in the area. In addition, due to its equipment, both national and international competitions are held there.
It has a layout of 3.506.02 m with a main straight of 610 m, the width of the track in the finish line is 12 m and 10 m in the rest. Number of Curves 18, to the right 10 and to the left 8. Maximum gradient of 8,92%.
FACILITIES
Its facilities were recently renovated to provide them with greater modernity and spaciousness. Since 2009 it is possible to ride without natural light, with a variable lighting system along the entire main track, so that it is not necessary for the motorcycles to have their own lighting systems.
There are 30 Boxes buildings, all of them equipped with connections for electricity up to 32 Amp., water, compressed air and WI-FI access.
52.000 meters of hospitality paddock, with water and electricity connections, toilets and showers.
It also houses a First Aid Medical Center, Closed Circuit TV, Areas and rooms for activities, its own School of Federated Motorcycling/Automobile Racing Officials and a Restaurant.
The circuit offers the possibility of parking for vehicles, cars, trucks, caravans, motorhomes, motorcycles, etc.
CARTAGENA
Cartagena is a port city and naval base in the Murcia region of southeastern Spain. The city was founded by the Carthaginians around 220 BC and reached its peak during the Roman period. Among its numerous Roman ruins, there is a theater from the XNUMXst century BC and the Casa de la Fortuna, a villa with murals and mosaics.
It is a port city open to the Mediterranean Sea through a wide bay. The port of Cartagena currently has two docks. On the one hand, that of Escombreras, where different industries are located, and on the other that of the city itself. Between the two lies the closest of our beaches, Cala Cortina, equipped with all the necessary equipment.
In natural settings, you can visit its two protected areas: to the west, the beaches of Cabo Tiñoso, including El Portús beach, and to the east, the beaches located in the regional park of Calblanque and Cala Reona.
In the surroundings of the urban framework, we find the Campo de Cartagena, as the region is known that extends from the Mazarrón and Carrascoy mountains to the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea.
The environment of the nearby mining sierra of Cartagena has been defined on occasions as a "lunar landscape". These are large open-cast mines, which offer a unique variety of colors, all completed by the remains of various constructions from mining operations, among which the unique "castilletes" stand out.
