What is PuntApunta and why is it the motorcycle route of the year?
Traditionally organized by BMW Motorrad Spain, the PuntApunta It's not a race, nor a speed competition. It is a tourist meeting point and a place of camaraderie for motorcycle lovers of all brands. The goal is clear: enjoy the scenery, master the curves, faithfully follow the road book and share anecdotes at the end of each day.
This year's edition, held between May 13-16, 2026, proposed an unforgettable journey under the motto "From South to East"A route that tested the endurance of the drivers and, of course, the performance of their tires.
The route of the 13th Edition: From Estepona to Gandía
The 2026 route was meticulously designed to delve into the heart of the peninsula before reaching the Levante coast. The three official stages left indelible landscapes and memories etched in the minds of all participants.
- Checks and Exit (Estepona): The starting point of the adventure. The atmosphere in the closed park already foreshadowed the adrenaline and anticipation of the days to come.
- Stage 1: Estepona – Granada: A leg-breaking day with spectacular mountain passes and the imposing silhouette of Sierra Nevada welcoming us.
- Stage 2: Granada – Albacete: The transition from Andalusian landscapes to the plains of La Mancha, combining winding sections with endless roads.
- Stage 3: Albacete – Gandía: The final descent towards the Mediterranean Sea. A final stage where accumulated fatigue transformed into pure satisfaction upon crossing the finish line.
